‘I Regret Casting you, your Greed is Bigger than your Passion’, Kabir Singh Director Reacts to Adil Hussain

Ever since Adil Hussain spoke about his regret working in Kabir Singh (2019) directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, his statement went viral and finally got a reaction from the director himself. Vanga took to his X account to respond to Hussain’s statement, he wrote,

“Ur ‘belief’ in 30 art films didn’t get as much fame to u as ur ‘regret’ of 1 BLOCKBUSTER film did 👏.” He added, “I regret casting u (you), knwing (knowing) that ur (your) greed is bigger than ur (your) passion. NOW I’ll save U (you) from the shame by replacing Ur (your) face with AI help👍 Now smile properly 🙂.”

Vanga’s tweet has not been received in good taste by the social media users. The director had previously slammed Javed Akhtar and Parvathy Thiruvothu for sharing their views for his film Animal (2023) starring Ranbir Kapoor.

Speaking about the film that has been discussed, Kabir Singh starring Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani in lead roles is a remake of Arjun Reddy (2017) also directed by Vanga.
