‘I’m absolutely thrilled for Stree 2,’ says Abhishek Banerjee

Abhishek Banerjee who will reprise the role of Jana in Stree 2 shared his excitement about the horror comedy film Stree 2, a sequel to the 2018 film Stree starring Shraddha Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao, Aparshakti Khurana and Pankaj Tripathi.

Banerjee, who played the role of Jana in the first part has spilled some beans on the recent whereabouts of Stree 2 in a recent interview.

Abhishek Banerjee claims that The makers are working on the post-production with special emphasis on the VFX part. He praised Amar Kaushik as a perfectionist who tirelessly works until he is satisfied with the result. In a recent interview, he speaks about the sequel's essence, promising it to be bigger and double the fun of the original.

Abhishek also spoke about the excitement about the reunion with co-stars Aparshakti Khurana and Shraddha Kapoor, reminiscing about the old days they have spent during the shooting of Stree.

Taking out his excitement, the actor said, "I’m absolutely thrilled for Stree 2! The anticipation for more fun and excitement is through the roof—I just can’t wait!"

Directed by Amar Kaushik, Stree 2 also stars Tamannaah Bhatia, Pankaj Tripathi, Aparshakti Khurana. The film is expected to release in theatres on August 30.
