It’s A Wrap For Rajinikanth’s Jailer

Rajinikanth and Tamannaah Bhatia have wrapped up the schedule for the much-awaited Jailer, which is directed by Nelson Dilipkumar of Doctor (2021) fame. Produced by Sun Pictures, the makers have shared pictures from the wrap party on social media. The cast and crew look super excited as Rajinikanth cuts a massive cake.

The action entertainer follows the life of Muthuvel Panidan (Rajinikanth), a jailer. The film boasts of an ensemble cast which includes Priyanka Mohan, Shiva Rajkumar, Jackie Shroff, Ramya Krishnan, Yogi Babu, Vasanth Ravi, and Vinayakan. Malayalam superstar Mohanlal will be seen in an extended cameo as well. The film has music by Anirudh Ravichander. Vijay Karthik Kannan is the cinematographer and R Nirmal of Nelson’s Beast (2022) is the editor. 

Jailer marks Nelson’s second collaboration with Sun Pictures after Beast. The film is slated to hit the screens on August 10.
