It’s A Wrap for Vishal and Hari’s Rathnam

Vishal who made a strong comeback with the blockbuster Mark Antony (2023) has already completed the shoot of his upcoming gangster drama film Rathnam which is helmed by director Hari of Saamy (2003) and Singham franchise (starring Suriya) fame. Rathnam marks the third collaboration between the director and actor after their previously successful films like Thaamirabharani (2007) and Poojai (2014). Vishal took to his social media pages to share the news of completing the final shoot of the film.

The actor noted, “ Yes yes yes. Done with the entire shoot of #Rathnam. Was an absolute pleasure to work with Dir Hari sir for the third time. All thanks to producer @stonebenchers Karthik and the team. Well well well, now time to unleash darling DSP’s super exciting single track damn soon. Gonna be a feast for all you action lovers.”

Rathnam also features Priya Bhavani Shankar, Ramachandra Raju, Samuthirakani, Gautham Vasudev Menon and Yogi Babu. Bankrolled by Stone Bench Films and Zee Studios jointly, the film has cinematography by M Sukumar and music by Devi Sri Prasad. Vishal also added in his post that the film will hit the screens in May this year.
