Jaane Jaan Trailer: Kareena Kapoor Khan is 'seedhi-saadhi aurat' turned suspect in Netflix Thriller

Netflix has dropped the trailer for Sujoy Ghosh’s upcoming crime thriller Jaane Jaan, where nothing and no one can be trusted. There is something rotten in the town of Kalimpong where Maya D’Souza (Kareena Kapoor Khan), manipulates her neighbour Naren (Jaideep Ahlawat) and police officer Karan Anand (Vijay Varma), who suspects her of a crime.

To Naren she is his "seedhi-saadhi" next-door neighbour, but to his old friend Anand, she is a “hot suspect”. The skeletons in her closet are a tad too literal as the trailer suggests. As Naren and Anand try to make sense of her and her actions, D'Souza tries hard to stay one step ahead and cover her tracks.

Jaane Jaan marks Khan’s debut on an OTT platform. The film is an adaptation of the Japanese novel The Devotion of Suspect X by Keigo Higashino. The film is directed by Ghosh and produced by Jay Shewakramani, Akshai Puri, Hyunwoo Thomas Kim, Shobha Kapoor and Ektaa R Kapoor. Jaane Jaan will premiere on Netflix on September 21.
