Nelson’s Jailer hit the screens earlier this week and sees Vasanth Ravi play the son of Rajinikanth. The actor, who was visibly excited about Jailer and his collaboration with Rajinikanth, penned a heartfelt thank-you note, describing his experience. He writes, “Jailer stands as one of the most significant milestones in my acting career. This film encapsulates the sheer dedication, patience, commitment, and determination that I have cultivated over the years in the film industry.“
About his experience of sharing the screen with Rajinikanth, Vasanth notes, “Rajni Sir, every moment spent with you on set has become an indelible memory in my life. Your teachings have enriched not only my acting skills but also my understanding of humanity and life. While I've always addressed you as “Sir," today I find it is a blessing to call you "APPA" (father) Rajni pa My Rathamaarey in Reel and Real life”.
The actor further quotes dialogue from the film to show his love for the superstar. “I love you so much pa and you have always been an inspiration to me” (P.S: a dialogue I say to you in Jailer, but I truly mean it)” Jailer features a musical score by Anirudh Ravichander and cinematography by Vijay Karthik Kannan.
