Jawan running to houseful shows in Srinagar's only multiplex

Shah Rukh Khan's film Jawan was released in theatres across India on September 7. The film has received a fabulous response from audiences across the country and even in Srinagar, which has only one multiplex, shows for Khan's film are running houseful.

As per reports by ANI and The Indian Express, the Inox multiplex in the Shivpora area of Srinagar is running houseful shows of Jawan. The owner of the multiplex, Vijay Dhar, informed reporters that Khan is a very popular actor in the region and his fans are very excited to watch his film.

Dhar said, “The initial response (for Jawan) has been very good. It is houseful for the four days (till Sunday). Then it depends upon the movie and how much the people like it. The response from the youth has been very good.” As per reports, the multiplex is running six shows every day except Friday, and all the screenings are fully booked till Sunday.

Jawan stars Khan, Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi in the lead roles with a special appearance by Deepika Padukone. The film is directed by Atlee.
