Jayaram’s Abraham Ozler Gets A Release Date

Jayaram will be making his comeback to mainstream Malayalam cinema after a short hiatus with the medical thriller Abraham Ozler (2024). The film directed by Midhun Manuel Thomas of Anjaam Pathiraa (2020) fame will see Jayaram in a new avatar, playing a retired police officer investigating a mysterious medical crime and its aftermath. The team shared the official release poster for the film recently featuring Jayaram and the rest of the supporting cast includes Jagadeesh, Arjun Ashokan, Anaswara Rajan, Anoop Menon and Dileesh Pothan. Superstar Mammootty is also making a cameo appearance in a crucial scene. The curiously designed poster features medical scalpels evenly placed in between each cast member’s profile, with a blood-soaked one at a wayside, possibly hinting at the central crime.

Abraham Ozler is penned by debutant Randheer Krishnan and bankrolled by Nerambokku and Manual Movie Makers. Theni Eswar has cranked the camera, while Midhun Mukundan has composed the original score for the film. Abraham Ozler is said to be packed with many more star cameos and surprise casting that have not been revealed by the team as of now. Abraham Ozler, which wrapped up its final schedule recently, is all set to be released on January 11, 2024.
