Kamal Haasan Begins Dubbing For Shankar’s Indian 2

The makers of actor Kamal Haasan’s next film Indian 2 have announced that the dubbing process has begun. They released a short video of Haasan in the dubbing studio along with director S Shankar. The video contained the theme music of the original Indian, which was composed by AR Rahman.

Indian 2 has been in production since 2019. The film was announced in 2017 and would see director Shankar and actor Kamal Haasan reunite after twenty years. The duo had previously collaborated on Indian, in which Haasan played the role of the vigilante Senapathy. The film had music by AR Rahman and was selected as India’s official entry for the Oscars.

Indian 2 is written and directed by Shankar and is backed by Subaskaran under the Lyca Productions banner as well as Udhayanidhi Stalin under the Red Giant Movies banner. It also stars Kajal Aggarwal, Siddharth, Rakul Preet Singh, Bobby Simha, Kalidas Jayaram, and Gulshan Grover. The film has music by Anirudh Ravichander, cinematography by R Rathnavelu and Ravi Varman, and editing by Sreekar Prasad.
