Karan Johar and Guneet Monga to Launch Actor Lakshya in KILL

Karan Johar announced on social media that the action film KILL, starring Dharma Cornerstone Agency talent Lakshya, would premiere in the Midnight Madness section at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) 2023. KILL is amongst the 10 films that have been selected for screening at the festival. 

The movie is directed by Nikhil Nagesh Bhat who helmed Hurdang,(2022) starring Sunny Kaushal, Nushrratt Bharuccha and Vijay Varma. In the picture shared by Johar and co-producer Guneet Monga, Lakshya is seen with a knife to his throat and wounds on his face. The actor’s expression seems to indicate that the still is from an intense moment in the film. 

Johar shared an image of Lakshya from the film and wrote, “The journey begins at the Toronto International Film Festival! KILL - an action-packed high octane film starring Lakshya - the next action hero to look out for. Directed by Nikhil Nagesh Bhat, the film will premiere at the Midnight Madness at TIFF 2023. Stay tuned, the official poster and teaser will be announced soon!” 

Lakshya, whose full name is Lakshya Lalwani, has acted in multiple television shows between 2015-18. He was supposed to work in Dostana 2 and then Bedhadak for Dharma Productions, but both films are now indefinitely delayed. The actor will now make his Bollywood debut with KILL.
