Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions is joining hands with Guneet Monga’s Sikhya Entertainment in a strategic content partnership to deliver quality content and fresh stories. Dharma Productions is known for big-budget films whereas Sikhya Entertainment is a leading independent production that recently bagged an Oscar in the best feature film category for The Elephant Whisperers.

The two productions previously collaborated in Ritesh Batra’s The Lunchbox (2013) starring Irrfan Khan. The movie was a critical success, receiving domestic and international acclaim.
