Kartik Aaryan and Tara Sutaria Team up for Aashiqui 3

Kartik Aaryan who is all set to star in Anurag Basu’s next Aashiqui 3 finally has a female lead alongside him. Filmfare has learnt that Tara Sutaria has been cast opposite Aaryan in the sequel of this romantic entertainer. The film will reportedly go on floors in 2024.

Aashiqui 3 producer Bhushan Kumar, also stated that pre-production work for the movie is still in progress. Since that music plays a significant role in the Aashiqui universe, they are actively composing music. The other two movies in the series, meanwhile, have received a lot of praise for their compelling love stories and enduring musical compositions.

Aashiqui 2 (2013) starred Aditya Roy Kapur and Shraddha Kapoor in the lead. The film was a sequel to the 1990 musical romance Aashiqui starring Rahul Roy and Anu Agarwal.
