Khichdi 2 First Look: Farah Khan joins the Parekh family on their dangerous new mission

The much-awaited sequel to Khichdi: The Movie (2010), Khichdi 2- Mission Paanthuskistan will release on Diwali 2023. The makers dropped a teaser on August 11 announcing the sequel and the film’s release during Diwali. 

The teaser features all the popular members of the Parekh family. Supriya Pathak (Hansa), Rajeev Mehta (Praful), Anang Desai (Babuji), Vandana Pathak (Jayshree), Kirti Kulhari (Parminder), and actor-producer Jamnadas Majethia (Himanshu) are all part of the sequel, with Farah Khan in a special appearance. 

Born as a stage play, Khichdi evolved into a television sitcom, a web series and a movie. The sequel to Khichdi: The Movie, Khichdi 2- Mission Paanthukistan takes audiences on an adventurous roller-coaster ride, delving into new dimensions of the Parekh family's dynamics. Continuing the legacy of over two decades of entertaining India, the iconic Parekh family is set to bring double the laughter and craziness in this fresh cinematic instalment.

Khichdi 2 - Mission Paanthukistan, is set against the backdrop of Diwali, and weaves together themes of unity, humanity, forgiveness, and the enduring power of family bonds. 

The film is written and directed by Aatish Kapadia, and produced by Hatsoff Productions.
