Kriti Sanon: ‘I saw new faces from film background, not done anything and getting opportunities’

In an interview with Pinkvilla, Kriti Sanon who was last seen in Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya alongside Shahid Kapoor in the lead revealed how frustrating and restless she was during a phase of her career where the actress lost several films to nepo kids.

“There was a phase where I was just very restless because I knew that I had way more potential than what I could portray in the opportunities that I had in front of me.” Sanon said. The Crew star said, “I wanted something where I could just show my potential as an actor way more.”

“I was getting frustrated because I was like, I know I can do it; I know I can kill it, but I don’t have it in front of me,” she further added,

Sanon also mentioned how some star kids got film opportunities without much effort. She said, “At that point, I was also seeing some new faces, some of them belonging to the film background, coming in having not done anything and getting opportunities that I was like, how.…”

Sanon will next be seen in Do Patti with Kajol, Housefull 5 and Bhediya 2.
