Mammootty’s ‘Turbo’ Goes on Floors

Mammootty, who is busy with a handful of projects, has announced his next film with director Vyshak of Pulimurugan (2016) fame. Titled Turbo, the film is penned by director Midhun Manuel Thomas of Anjaam Pathiraa (2020) fame and is touted to be an intense action. After the title reveal poster, the makers announced that they have started the film's production at Coimbatore and Mammmootty will join the team later. 

Turbo is bankrolled by Mammootty’s home production house Mammootty Kampany, which has earlier produced films like Rorschach (2022) and Kannur Squad (2023). Justin Varghese will score the music while Vishnu Sarma will crank the camera. Phoenix Prabhu is the action choreographer and Shajie Naduvil is the production designer. The film is expected to be released in the first half of 2024.
