In a recent interview, Manoj Bajpayee opened up on his character of ACP Avinash from his streaming film Silence 2, he also shared that he doesn’t watch his own movies but relies on the feedback from peers and friends to understand how well it was received.
Bajpayee said, “Looking back at my portrayal of ACP Avinash in Silence 2, I feel a deep sense of satisfaction knowing that I put lot of thoughts into portraying this character. Working with the director and the rest of the cast was a wonderful experience. Together, we created a portrayal that felt genuine and true to the story. It was a collective effort driven by our shared passion for storytelling. And, I don't usually watch my own movies. Instead, I rely on feedback from peers and friends to gauge how they're received.”
Talking about working with Parul Gulati who played the antagonist in the film, he said, “Working with Parul Gulati was very nice experience. Her portrayal of the antagonist was wonderful, as she brought an unparalleled level of passion and depth to the character. Parul's nuanced performance elevated every scene, infusing it with tension and intrigue. Her dedication to her craft and her ability to embody the complexities of her role made our on-screen dynamic worth the watch.”
Silence 2 is currently streaming on Zee5. The film premiered on the platform on April 16.
