Marathi film Jhimma’s Sequel Jhimma 2 Gets a Release Date

After the super success of Marathi film Jhimma in 2021, Jio Studios and Anand L Rai have announced the release date of its much-awaited sequel Jhimma 2. The film will be released in cinemas on November 24.

Hemant Dhome once again dons the director’s hat for the sequel and the film will see the reunion of the original cast - Nirmiti Sawant, Kshitee Jog, Suhas Joshi, Suchitra Bandekar, Sayali Sanjeev and Siddharth Chandekar. The ensemble of cast will also see entries of two popular Marathi actresses joining the cast, the makers will announce the names soon.

Colour Yellow Productions in association with Jio Studios and Chalchitra Mandalee Production, produced by Jyoti Deshpande, Anand L Rai and Kshitee Jog, directed by Dhome, written by Irawati Karnik, Jhimma is a story of five women of different age groups on an all women’s trip to the United Kingdom and celebrating womanhood in full spirit. The sequel is all set to take the audience on a fun reunion, exploring women friendships.
