Mohanlal Reunites With Director Jeethu Joseph For Neru

Mohanlal, who was recently seen in a cameo role in Jailer, has joined hands with Jeethu Joseph for his next film. Titled Neru, the film was launched with a formal puja ceremony. The film will be produced by Anthony Perumbavoor under his Aashirvad Cinemas banner.

Announcing their new project, Mohanlal wrote, “We begin the shoot for "Neru" today on the auspicious occasion of the 1st of Chingam. Sharing a few stills from the Pooja with you all! Your prayers and blessings are much solicited. #Neru”

The successful Drishyam films duo are collaborating for the fifth time. After the two-part film series, they reunited for 12th Man. They have also made the two-part thriller film Ram, which is yet to be released.

Mohanlal is awaiting the release of Lijo Jose Pellissery’s Malaikottai Vaaliban. He is also shooting for Ekta Kapoor’s pan-Indian film Vrushabha and will be seen in Empuran, Prithviraj Sukumaran’s follow-up to the blockbuster Lucifer.
