‘Munna Tripathi to make Comeback in Mirzapur 3’, Reveals Producer Ritesh Sidhwani

The team of Madgaon Express, actor turned director’s Kunal Kemmu’s debut directorial has been received very well by the audience. The cast and crew have already begun celebrating the success of the film. While the team attended the Film Companion Front Row recently, producer Ritesh Sidhwani of Excel Entertainment was quizzed about one of the most anticipated shows Mirzapur Season 3. One of the audience members asked the producer if we could see Munna Tripathi’s return in the upcoming season of the hit OTT show.

“Unfortunately Munna Tripathi can’t come back into the series, the way it is but may be there’s something interesting for which you will have to wait but there is something where Munna will enter back in audiences’ life,” Sidhwani revealed.

Munna Tripathi’s character played by Divyenndu who also plays one of the leads in Madgaon Express dies in the second season of Mirzapur. The actor has been applauded for his portrayal of a gangster in the crime drama series.

Mirzapur 3 also stars Pankaj Tripathi, Rasika Dugal, Ali Fazal, Shweta Tripathi, Vijay Varma in key roles. The third season of the show will soon premiere on Amazon Prime Video.
