Nushrratt Bharuccha starrer Akelli is a gut wrenching Thriller

The trailer of Nushrratt Bharuccha starrer Akelli is out. The story of the film revolves around an Indian woman who gets caught up in a war in Iraq. Bharuccha who plays the role of Jyoti, a young woman who migrates to Mosul in Iraq for work, gets trapped in a combat zone.

The actress posted the trailer video on her Instagram handle and captioned it as, "AKELLI - An Ordinary Girl’s Battle For Survival."

Directed by Pranay Meshram, the film also features Tsahi Halevi and Amir Boutrous who are making their big screen debut with Akelli. The film releases in theatres on August 18.
