‘Olave Olave’: The First Single from SSE: Side B Captures Soft Moments Between Rakshit Shetty and Rukmini Vasanth

One of the highlights of the Rakshit Shetty and Rukmini Vasanth-starrer Sapta Sagaradaache Ello: Side A was its magical music by Charan Raj. The trio of Hemanth Rao, Shetty, and Raj is a dream team that has given the wonderful album of Godhi Banna Sadharana Mykattu. With the release of SSE: Side B on the horizon, the makers have now released the first single of the film.

Titled ‘Olave Olave’, the song is a romantic ballad that talks about how Priya sees her beau Manu, and the grounding relationship they share. The river and sea metaphors make their way into the lyrics again, which were written by BR Suvarna Sharma. Srilakshma Belmannu, who sang the soulful track ‘Kadalanu’ from the first film, lends her voice to this song as well. 

The music is relatively brighter than the teaser of Side B indicated, which was a more intense and tragic exploration of Manu’s psyche after his release from prison. The song was accompanied by a lyrical video, which shows glimpses of the pair as well as the behind-the-scenes footage of Charan Raj and Srilakshmi Belmannu recording the song.

SSE: Side B is directed by Hemanth M Rao, who wrote the film along with Gundu Shetty. It stars Rakshit Shetty, Rukmini Vasanth, Chaithra J Achar, Achyuth Kumar, Gopalkrishna Deshpande, Ramesh Indira, and Sharath Lohitashwa. 

Advaitha Gurumurthy has handled the cinematography while Sunil Bharadwaj has edited the film. Ullas Hydur is the production designer. Rakshit Shetty produces under his Paramvah Studios banner and the film is all set to be released on November 17.
