Oscars 2024: Oppenheimer Wins Oscar for Best Movie, Dominates with 7 Awards

Filmmaker Christopher Nolan has bagged the Oscar for best direction for Oppenheimer starring Cillian Murphy and Emily Blunt in leading roles.

Oppenheimer has been dominating the Oscars 2024 by winning the maximum number of awards. The following are the categories the film has been awarded for: Actor in a supporting role (Robert Downey Jr.), Achievement in Film Editing (Jennifer Lame), Best Cinematography (Hoyte van Hoytema), Original Score (Ludwig Goransson), Best actor in a leading riole (Cillian Murphy), Best direction (Nolan), Best Picture.

Murphy portrayed the eponymous J. Robert Oppenheimer, father of the atomic bomb, incNolan’s epic Oppenheimer. This was his first Academy Award nomination, and his first win.
