Panchayat Season 3 Trailer Date Announced; New Poster Revealed

After two highly beloved seasons, Amazon Prime Video’s comedy series Panchayat is finally coming back. The makers recently announced that the third season will be released on May 28, 2024. Furthermore, they also revealed that the trailer for the new season will drop on May 17. “Lauk the date to watch Panchayat’s trailer!” said the caption on Prime Video India’s Instagram post. A new poster was also unveiled, although viewers were quick to point out the absence of lead actor Jitendra Kumar.

Panchayat, created by The Viral Fever (TVF), quickly became one of the most popular comedy series in recent years since its premiere in 2020. The third season will reunite fans with their favourite characters, played by the ensemble cast of Jitendra Kumar, Neena Gupta, Raghubir Yadav, Faisal Malik, Chandan Roy, and Sanvikaa. Directed by Deepak Kumar Mishra and written by Chandan Kumar, the light-hearted series follows the adventures of an engineering graduate who unwillingly takes on the role of panchayat secretary in the fictional small town of Phulera, Uttar Pradesh.
