Pradeep Ranganathan to Lead Vignesh Shivan’s Romantic Comedy LIC

Pradeep Ranganathan has been enjoying the success of the blockbuster Love Today (2022), his directorial outing that also featured him in the lead role. The filmmaker has now announced his next project as an actor with Vignesh Shivan. Titled LIC (Love Insurance Corporation), the team shared the stills from the recently finished pooja ceremony of the project. The film will feature Krithi Shetty and SJ Suryah in the lead cast alongside Pradeep Ranganathan.

LIC is bankrolled by Seven Screen Studios, the production house behind the recent blockbuster Leo (2023). The film will have music by Anirudh Ravichander, while Ravi Varman will crank the camera. The project is touted to be a romantic drama with shades of comedy along the lines of Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal (2022) and Naanum Rowdy Dhaan (2015), both directed by Vignesh Shivan. Yogi Babu is also expected to be a part of the supporting cast but the team has not revealed the entire cast list as of now. LIC will kick start its production soon.
