Zee Theatre's recorded theatre play Yeh Shaadi Nahi Ho Sakti is now streaming on ZEE5. The play is based on Shakespeare's classic comedy 'Taming of the Shrew' with an Indian twist. The play uses 90's style Bollywood melodrama to tell the story of lovers Priya (Prajakta Koli) and Lakshman (Chaitanya Sharma) who can't get married till Priya's elder sister Pallavi (Shikha Talsania) does. Lakshman devises an elaborate plan where they hire an NRI groom to woo Pallavi, and also asks a drunk theatre actor Alankar (Gopal Dutt) to play his father. But when Lakshman's real father learns about the wedding plan, chaos ensues. Will the marriage finally take place?

Koli, who plays a lead role in the production, shared her thoughts about working on Yeh Shaadi Nahi Ho Sakti. She said, "I think every single day I spent on set, on an Akarsh Khurana set, enriched me as an actor, there was so much to learn. And the fact that there was Shikha, Gopal Sir , Pawan Sir, Cheetah (Chaitanya Sharma), Aadhaar (playing the role of Kishor), Sarthak, everyone, I learnt a lot from them during this whole process."

Koli also spoke about what makes Yeh Shaadi Nahin Ho Sakti a distinctive viewing experience. The actor said, "Firstly, because it's a quick watch, it's not very long; And secondly, because it is brilliantly written, it’s so funny, and if you are a 90s Bollywood fan like me, then you will enjoy it because the sets look like that, the outfits are like that, and the way we are speaking and the way we are on screen is like that. I grew up watching movies like Hum Saath Saath Hain (1999) and Hum Aapke Hain Koun (1994), and I never thought that I would ever get the opportunity to do something that was based in the 90s the way this screenplay is."

Koli was seen recently in the films Neeyat and Jug Jugg Jeeyo (2022).
