Raayan: Dhanush Shows Us What He's Been Cooking With His New Directorial

After Captain Miller, Dhanush is gearing up for the release of his second directorial. Back in 2017, the actor debuted as a filmmaker with the feel-good drama Pa Paandi. Now, Dhanush has forayed into the crime genre with his sophomore directorial Raayan.

The makers released the first look poster, which sees Dhanush in his new avatar. He sports a bald hairstyle while wearing an apron and holding a skewer. The apron has streaks of red but it's not clear if it's blood or grease. Actors Kalidas Jayaram and Sundeep Kishan co-star in the film and are also featured in the poster. The trio stand in front of a food cart with an intense look.

Raayan is written and directed by Dhanush and is backed by Kalanithi Maaran under the Sun Pictures banner. AR Rahman handles the music while Om Prakash handles the cinematography.
