Raj B Shetty Joins The Cast of Mammootty's 'Turbo'

The makers of the Mammootty starrer Turbo recently announced that Kannada actor and director Raj B Shetty would be joining the cast as the antagonist. The film would be Shetty’s second Malayalam film after the upcoming Aparna Balamurali starrer Rudhiram. Turbo is directed by Vysakh, who collaborates with Mammootty for the third time.

Raj B Shetty was last seen in the action drama Toby, which he also wrote. The film was directed by debutant Basil Alchakkal and also starred Samyuktha Hornad, and Chaithra J Achar of Sapta Sagaradache Ello fame. Shetty was also seen in the films Thurthu Nirgamana and 777 Charlie. He had contributed as an associate director and writer for the socio-fantasy Kantara. Raj Shetty is awaiting the release of his upcoming directorial Swathi Mutthina Male Haniye, which will be released on November 24.

Turbo is directed by Vysakh and written by Midhun Manuel Thomas. It is backed by Mammootty’s production house Mammootty Kampany and will be distributed by Dulquer Salman’s Wayfarer Films. The film has music by Justin Varghese.
