Rajinikanth Wraps up Filming His Portions for Aishwaryaa Rajinikanth's Lal Salaam

The makers of the sports drama Lal Salaam recently announced that Rajinikanth, who plays an extended cameo in the film, has wrapped his portions. The superstar will be playing a character called Moideen Bhai. 

The film is directed by his daughter, Aishwaryaa Rajinikanth, who will be returning to the director's chair after over 6 years, her last film being the documentary Cinema Veeran. The director shared a picture of the superstar along with the cast and crew and posted a heartfelt message. "Making a movie with you is a miracle and you're pure magic appa," read the message. 

Lal Salaam is written and directed by Aishwaryaa Rajinikanth and features Vishnu Vishal and Vikranth in the lead roles. It is produced by Subaskaran under the Lyca Productions banner and has AR Rahman providing the score. Vishnu Ramasamy lenses the camera while Pravin Bhasker is the editor.
