Rajinikanth's Jailer to Release on August 10, Glimpse Video Out

Helmed by Nelson Dilipkumar, Jailer is one of the much-awaited films that's expected to give a roaring comeback for both Nelson and Rajinikanth. The film boasts of a star-studded cast which includes Shivrajkumar, Mohanlal, Sunil, Jackie Shroff, Tamannaah and others. The makers have now announced the release date with a promo video.

The film seems to be a fun action entertainer, with a stylishly cut promo backed by Anirudh Ravichandran's peppy score. The video gives us a glimpse of several actors including Shivrajkumar, Mohanlal, and Jackie Shroff, before introducing Rajinikanth. The super star gets down from a car in a slo-mo and the camera zooms in on his face as he sarcastically smiles. The film is slated to hit the screens on August 10.

Produced by Sun Pictures, the film co-stars Ramya Krishnan, Vasanth Ravi, Yogi Babu and Vinayakan. While Vijay Kartik Kannan has lensed the film, R Nirmal has handled the editing.
