Rajkummar Rao and Vaani Kapoor to star in Anubhav Sinha’s production

Rajkummar Rao and Vaani Kapoor will share screen space for the first time in a film being produced by Anubhav Sinha.  As per a report in Pinkvilla, the film titled Bachpan Ka Pyar is being directed by Apurva Dhar Badgaiyann. 

The report mentions a source close to the development who says, "It’s a quirky love story set in Lucknow. Both Rajkummar and Vaani have signed the film and will begin shooting for it sometime next month," This is the first time that Kapoor will be collaborating with Sinha, and the third time that Rao will be working with the filmmaker after Bheed and a yet-to-be-released anthology. 

Sinha is known for his hard-hitting socially relevant films like Article 15 (2019), Anek (2022), Mulk (2018), Thappad (2020), and Bheed. Rao has multiple projects lined up for release including Raj and DK’s Guns & Gulaabs, Mr. & Mrs. Mahi opposite Janhvi Kapoor, and Stree 2. Kapoor will be seen in Dinesh Vijan’s film Sarvgunn Sampann, and YRF’s web series Mandala Murders. She has also reportedly signed Mudassar Aziz’s film alongside Akshay Kumar and Taapsee Pannu.
