Rajkummar Rao says his portrayal of Bhagat Singh would be different from previous interpretations

Rajkummar Rao, who has been busy promoting his Netflix series Guns and Gulaabs, revealed that it was his dream to portray legendary freedom fighter Bhagat Singh’s life on screen. Rao shared that he feels very passionately about Singh’s story and given a chance, he would interpret his journey very differently.

The actor, who has previously played Subhas Chandra Bose in the web series Bose: Dead/Alive (2017) shared, “Of course, I’m very passionate about Bhagat Singh and his journey, and to present him on screen in a very different way than whatever you have seen till now, and it was great also,. But, if I would ever do Bhagat Singh, it will be a very different take on his life and, me playing him as an actor.”

Rao also has the films Mr and Mrs Mahi and Stree 2 in the pipeline.
