Ramesh Pisharody to Direct Soubin Shahir in His Third Feature Film

Ramesh Pisharody is one of the busiest comedians in Malayalam cinema, who has also made a name as a director. The actor will be returning to the director’s chair with Soubin Shahir in the lead role. Ramesh Pisharody has previously helmed films like Panchavarnathatha (2018) and Ganagandharvan (2019). The current project is being written by Kerala Sahitya Akademi Award winner Santhosh Aechikkanam, who earlier penned the screenplay of films like Annayum Rasoolum (2013) and Njan Steve Lopez (2014). 

The yet-to-be-titled film will begin its production in the coming weeks and is expected to be a comedy entertainer. The project is bankrolled by Badusha Productions. The unusual pairing of writer Santhosh Aechikkanam known for more serious stripped-down dramas with the comic sensibilities of Ramesh Pisharody sure does promise a refreshing cinematic experience.
