Rani Mukerji starrer Mardaani 3 Shoot will Begin Next Year

Rani Mukerji will next be seen in the third installment of her hit franchise Mardaani, titled Mardaani 3. The film will go on floors in the next year. The actress recently confirmed the news about her upcoming action-packed franchise. In the Yash Raj Films produced franchise, Mukerji plays the role of the determined cop Shivani Shivaji Roy.

According to a report by Zoom, the film’s script has been locked and it is expected to go on floors soon. The report claims that the film’s script has been written by Gopi Puthrans over months and has now been green-lit by Rani’s husband Aditya Chopra. The makers are now discussing the rest of the cast of the film. The report also mentions that the shoot for Mardaani 3 will begin next year.

Mardaani released in 2014 and earned Rs. 59.55 crores at the global box office. Mardaani 2 which released in 2019 recorded Rs.67.12 crores worldwide. The third part Mardaani 3 is expected to release by the end of 2024 or earlier in 2025.
