Ranveer Singh has parted ways with director Prasanth Varma from his film Rakshas, citing creative differences. The actor reportedly has walked out of the big budget film and is no more involved with the project.
"They have amicably parted ways due to creative differences," a source disclosed to Pinkvilla. According to a news report, Singh wants to currently focus on his personal life and give time to his family. Although he is reading scripts but wants to balance out his personal and professional life at the same time.
Despite his exit from Rakshas, the actor will be seen in Don 3 and Shaktimaan. In Don 3, directed by Farhan Akhtar, Singh will share screen space with Kiara Advani for the first time. The actor also has Singham Again with Ajay Devgn, Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Arjun Kapoor in key roles.
For now, Rakshas which was based on the pre-independence era with a mythological backdrop has been shelved following Singh’s departure from the film.
