Rio Raj’s Joe Gets Its OTT Release

The makers of last year’s romantic drama Joe (2023) announced that the film would start streaming on Disney+ Hotstar on January 15. Starring Rio Raj in his third film as a lead actor, it also features Malavika Manoj, Bhavya Trikha, Charlie and Praveena. The film is set as an old-school college romance centred around the protagonist Joe (played by Rio Raj) and how he deals with heartbreak. The film was released on November 24, 2023, to mostly positive reviews.

Joe is written and directed by debutant Hariharan Ram. Backed by Dr D Arulanandhu and Matthew Arulanandu under the Vision Cinema House banner, the film was distributed by Sakthi Film Factory. Siddhu Kumar provided the music for the film while Rahul KH Vignesh and Varun KH handled the cinematography and editing, respectively.
