Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani heads to Busan International Film Festival

Karan Johar's Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani has been selected in the Open Cinema section at the Busan International Film Festival 2023. The film stars Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt in the lead roles. The other films in this section include France’s Dogman and The Animal Kingdom, Japan’s Revolver Lily, and Hong Kong’s One More Chance.

The popularity of the Busan International Film Festival has grown over the years. What began as Korea's first international film festival, has now become a prestigious event attended by filmmakers and audiences from Asia and around the world. The 2023 edition of the festival will begin on October 4 and conclude on October 13. 269 films are expected to be screened this year.

Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani was released on July 28. The film marked Johar's return to direction after seven years. In addition to Singh and Bhatt, the film also starred veteran actors Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan, and Shabana Azmi and Bengali actors Tota Roy Chowdhury and Churni Ganguly.
