Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani Teaser: Karan Johar’s Trademark Musical Romance is back

Shah Rukh Khan has launched the teaser of Karan Johar’s much anticipated film Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani starring Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt as leads.

Khan posted the teaser on Instagram and wrote, "Wow @karanjohar 25 years as a filmmaker. You’ve come a long way baby!! Your father and my friend Tom uncle must be seeing this from heaven and feeling extremely happy and proud. Have always told you to make more and more films because we need the ethereal magic of love being brought to life… like only u can do. #RockyAurRaniKiiPremKahaani teaser is looking beautiful. The one minute 20 seconds teaser shows all the elements of Dharma film- emotion, family drama, romance in the snowy backdrop, vibrant color palette. The teaser also introduces industry veterans like Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan and Shabana Azmi.

Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani marks Johar’s comeback on the director’s seat after 7 years. His last directorial was Ae Dil Hai Mushkil (2016) which starred Ranbir Kapoor, Anushka Sharma and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.

Sharing the teaser on his Instagram handle, Johar wrote, "Presenting to you the first glimpse of a piece of my heart #RockyAurRaniKiiPremKahaani! I’m thrilled and super excited to finally let it unfurl for you all to see...watch...and give love!!!"

Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani releases in cinemas on July 28.
