Salaar Release Date Fixed based on Astrology says, Producer Vijay Kiragandur

The makers of Prabhas starrer Salaar directed by KGF fame Prashanth Neel which recently got an A certificate from the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) have revealed the reason behind releasing Salaar on December 22.

In an interview with a news portal, Kiragandur said, “That’s the reason we didn’t prepone the film despite knowing that Dunki and Aquaman are releasing a day earlier.”

He further said, “There was lots of work pending due to which we couldn’t make it for September 28. We then looked at various dates till May 2024, but we felt December 22 was the best date. Also, it is the time more people will flock to theatres as it is the Christmas and New Year season.”

Salaar also stars Prithviraj Sukumaran and Shruti Haasan in pivotal roles. The film is slated to release on December 22.
