Salman Khan's Tiger 3 will pave the way for future YRF Spy Universe Films

Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif starrer Tiger 3's first teaser was released on September 27. The video gave audiences a glimpse into the larger-than-life world of the film, which is the third instalment of the Tiger franchise and the second film to be released from the YRF Spy Universe.

As per a report in Bollywood Hungama Tiger 3 will play an important role in how the future films of the spy universe will shape up. A source told the portal, "The story of Tiger 3 will decide the path ahead for films like Tiger vs Pathaan, War 2, and the yet untitled Alia Bhatt film. Maneesh Sharma and Aditya Chopra have chalked out the premise of Tiger 3 like a true blue universe film that opens up several story avenues for the films that are going to be made in the coming two years."

As per the report, Tiger 3 will give audiences an insight into what they can expect from Khan and Shah Rukh Khan's face-off in the action thriller Tiger vs Pathaan which will be directed by Siddharth Anand.

The source added, "There will be a lot of open ends that open avenues for character journeys in the future. Pathaan was a mere character establishment, which merged itself into the universe with the cameo of Tiger. Now, Tiger 3 is where the story goes wild and deep-rooted into the crossover. Watch out for the change of character dynamics in Tiger 3."

Tiger 3 is directed by Maneesh Sharma and produced by Aditya Chopra under the Yash Raj Films banner. The film will be released during the festive period of Diwali 2023.
