The Welcome franchise has been one of the most anticipated franchise in Bollywood and ever since the makers announced its next installment, Welcome To The Jungle, revealing an ensemble of cast featuring Akshay Kumar, Sanjay Dutt, Arshad Warsi, Suniel Shetty, Tusshar Kapoor, Shreyas Talpade, Raveena Tandon, Paresh Rawal, Jacqueline Fernandez among others, the excitement among fans to witness Dutt and Warsi beside Kumar even doubled.

According to a Hindustan Times report, the reason behind Dutt’s exit from the film has now been revealed. An insider disclosed, “Sanjay was very enthusiastic about the film and had even begun shooting. Unfortunately, after completing just one day of filming in Madh Island, a few months back, he informed the director that he couldn't continue due to health reasons following his battle with cancer and the subsequent treatments. Although Welcome 3 is a masala movie filled with humour, it also involves a lot of action (Sanjay's character had a lot of action in the movie), which he didn't anticipate and found himself unable to perform.”

Thus putting an end to all the rumors that said that Dutt left the film because of his differences with Kumar, Welcome To The Jungle, directed by Ahmed Khan is expected to release in theatres this December.
