At the FC Front Row, Sara Ali Khan who came to promote her streaming film Ae Watan Mere Watan expressed her views on the kind of films or roles she aspires to do. The actress essays the role of Usha Mehta, a young freedom fighter in 1942 who started an underground radio station to spread the message of unity during the Quit India Movement.
Talking about the kind of film she wishes to do, Khan in conversation with Anupama Chopra said, “Marriage story is a film that comes to my mind, it's a film that I wish I could do, something like that would be very interesting, that would be really interesting, a film like that, I like that genre also. Its a real, hard hitting, love romance, drama.”
Ae Watan Mere Watan is directed by Kannan Iyer, the film also stars Emraan Hashmi, Sachin Khedekar in pivotal roles. She will next be seen in Metro In Dino directed by Anurag Basu.
