Saripodhaa Sanivaaram Glimpse: Nani Plays An Angry Young Man

After captivating audiences with an enthralling teaser last year, the makers of Nani-starrer Saripodhaa Sanivaaram have returned with a new teaser on the occasion of the actor’s birthday. 

The teaser promo video begins with a shot of three individuals sitting in a hallway, smoking. Accompanied by the visuals, a voiceover in SJ Suryah’s baritone voice can be heard. “Rage has many forms and every person’s rage is unique. But has anyone seen a maniac who unleashes his rage, methodically and meticulously, on just one day a week? I have,” the voiceover says, as Nani appears, exuding a full swagger vibe, chasing someone down a street. With this, it is clear that the story follows a unique man who acts upon his anger only one day of the week, i.e. Saturdays. The film is directed by Vivek Athreya.

Saripodhaa Sanivaaram stars Nani, SJ Suryah, Priyanka Arul Mohan, and Sai Kumar P in lead roles. It has been written and directed by Vivek Athreya and produced by DVV Danayya and Kalyan Dasari. Jakes Bejoy has composed the music for the film. The film is set to be released in theatres on August 29.
