Shah Rukh Khan confirms Dunki’s Release Date

At the recent success part of Shah Rukh Khan starrer Jawan, Khan opened up about his upcoming film Dunki helmed by Rajkumar Hirani and also announced the release date of the film. He confirmed its Christmas release and said God’s being kind to him. He told the media, “I am not trying to show off. God has been very kind that we have had Pathaan. God has been even kinder with Jawan.”

He further added, “We started on 26 January, Republic Day, it’s a good, auspicious day. Then on Janmashtami – Lord Krishna’s birthday – we released this film. And now on Christmas, we will bring Dunki. National integration rakhta hoon (I keep national integration).”

Khan’s clarification has put the rumors pertaining to Dunki’s postpone to rest. Dunki is directed by Hirani and also stars Taapsee Pannu alongside Khan. The film is scheduled to release on December 22.
