Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan to clash with Warner Bros’ The Nun II

Shah Rukh Khan starrer Jawan will clash at the Box Office with Warner Bros’ The Nun II. While Jawan hits the theatres on September 11, The Nun II releases on September 8. Apart from English, The Nun II will also release in Hindi, Telugu, and Tamil.

This isn’t the first time that a Warner Bros horror feature is clashing with a big-budget Indian movie. Salman Khan’s Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan clashed with Evil Dead Rise. The Nun II belongs to The Conjuring Universe, which has been successful in India. 

A trade expert observed, “The Nun II will manage reasonable screen count despite the clash of Jawan, which is also releasing in multiple languages. It then won’t have competition till Salaar that arrives in theatres on September 28. Hence, if word of mouth is positive, The Nun II can turn out to be a huge grosser.”

Jawan is directed by Atlee Kumar and also features Vijay Sethupathi, Nayanthara, and Sanya Malhotra.
