Shane Nigam Moves to Kollywood with Madraskaaran

Malayalam actor Shane Nigam, who was last seen in 2023’s action extravaganza RDX and thriller Vela, will be making his Tamil cinema debut with the upcoming action film Madraskaaran. The makers announced the film with a quirky teaser that was released by Dulquer Salman, who is among the few Malayalam actors who have travelled across industries.

The teaser sees Shane Nigam being pitched the script of the film by the directors and producers while he tries to impress them by delivering classic Tamil cinema dialogues. References to Sivaji Ganesan, Rajinikanth, and Vijay are made through the dialogues. The actor finally accepts the role at the end.

Madraskaaran is directed by Vaali Mohandas and also stars Kalaiyarasan and Niharika Konidela. B Jagadish produces the film under the SR Productions banner. Sundaramurthy handles the music while Prassana S Kumar handles the cinematography.
