Siddharth's Chithha Gets OTT Release Date

Siddharth's Chithha (2023) marked a clear departure in the actor’s filmography. He got great reviews for his performance and ambition in bankrolling the story. After its successful theatrical run, the makers have now announced that the film will be streaming on November 28 on Disney + Hotstar. Chithha sees Siddharth play an uncle who immensely cares about his five-year-old niece and how he responds when he has been accused of a grave crime, which he takes it upon himself to solve. 

It is a low-key drama about the often under-discussed relationship between an uncle and niece, which was lauded for its sensitive portrayal of complex issues. The film is written and directed by SU Arun Kumar of Sethupathi (2016) and Sindhubaadh (2019) fame. The music for the film is composed by Dhibu Ninan Thomas while the cinematography is by Balaji Subramanyam.
