Siya on Zee5: There were certain scenes which were pain provoking to recreate says actor Vineet Kumar Singh

Vineet Kumar Singh and Pooja Pandey starrer Siya is set to premiere on Zee5 today. The Manish Mundra directorial deals with the subject of rape, and the fight for justice.

Talking about the most difficult part of filming, Singh said, “I don’t think there was any difficulty as such while shooting for Siya. I was well aware of the concept and nature of the film. Our director, Manish Sir, made a lot of effort to simplify the narration and make it an easy journey for every actor. However, there were certain scenes around the crime which were pain provoking to recreate.”

On whether he thinks the audience is ready for a film like Siya, he said, “ I believe, just like there are people who watch cinema that caters to entertaining people, there is a significant portion of the audience who loves and wants to watch movies like Siya and they are very committed to content like Siya.”

The film premieres on Zee5 on June 16.
