Soundarya Rajinikanth and Ashok Selvan Join Hands for an Amazon Prime Video Original Series

After Kochadaiiyaan (2014) and VIP 2 (2017), Soundarya Rajinikanth has officially announced her next project. The director, who has been missing in action for quite some time, will be serving as the showrunner for a new Tamil web series for Amazon Prime Video that will feature Ashok Selvan in the lead. She will be also co-producing the series with May 6 Entertainments.

The production went on floors recently after a puja ceremony. It is being written and directed by Noah Abraham, known for his work as a co-writer in the film Vidiyum Munnu (2013). Sharing the news, Soundarya noted, “And we begin on this auspicious day. Proud to be the showrunner for this awesome series we have been working on the past few years !!! Writer & director - Noah Abraham, featuring our dear & dynamic @AshokSelvan and a stellar cast and the most Amazing crew we will announce soon !!! absolutely exciting times ahead.” The series premiere will be happening towards the beginning of next year.
