Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse to release in India a day before the US

The highly anticipated Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse will release in India a day before it releases in US theatres. In India, the movie will release in English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Gujarati, Marathi, Punjabi, and Bengali.

A sequel to the 2018 movie Spider-Man: Into the Spiderverse, Across the Spiderverse follows Miles Morales as he encounters the Spider-Society, a team of Spider-people tasked with keeping the multiverse safe. 

Cricketer Shubmann Gill voices Indian Spider-Man Pavitr Prabhakar in the Hindi and Punjabi versions of the movie. 

The English voice cast of the movie includes Shameik Moore, Hailee Steinfeld, Jake Johnson, Jason Schwartzman, Issa Rae, Karan Soni, Daniel Kaluuya, and Oscar Isaac. Across the Spider-Verse releases in Indian theatres on June 1.
