‘Stree 2 is Bigger, Kuch nahi Badla hai’: Rajkummar Rao

Rajkummar Rao who is currently busy promoting his upcoming film Srikanth with Stree 2 being shot simultaneously. The actor, in an interview with Film Companion, opened up about the much anticipated sequel of his 2018 blockbuster Stree. Speaking about the scale and the excitement surrounding the film, Rao said,

“Same world, same people. It's bigger for sure, same duniya, kuch nahi badla hai, (nothing has changed) I think jo soul this uss film ki vo isme bhi hai.” (the soul remains the same as Stree).

Stree 2 is directed by Amar Kaushik who also directed the first part. The film will see Shraddha Kapoor, Pankaj Tripathi, Aparshakti Khurana and Abhishek Banerjee reprising their roles while Tamannaah Bhatia and Varun Dhawan making special appearances.

Stree 2 is a part of Dinesh Vijan’s horror comedy universe which began with Stree and now includes Bhediya (2022), Stree 2 and Bhediya 2.
